Working AT Home
« on: November 25, 2011, 02:52:35 PM »
This area is for those who perform their work AT home.

In other words you don't go out of the home to do whatever it is you do.

I have been working from home for over a year! After I had my 2nd child I didn't want to go back into the work field. I found this company that is BBB acredited, provides ongoing training for me to do account setup, marketing, and customer service.

I've been working from home since 1994.

We owned a cleaning service for many years and ran it from the house.

Sold out a few years ago and trying to morph into a work at home entrepreneur. We have an online cleaning supply business and a couple of forums now. Working plans to manufacture some cleaning related items here at home for spring of this year.

I am working from the library, not from home  :)
Umm...Why are there no newer responses to any of the threads I've found, here? I'm serious, every thread I've looked up, so far, has not had a response since 2011, except for this one - & the last post was made in February!
What's up? Is this part of the restriction, or something? This is terrible.

Working from the library is something I hadn't thought of?

Certainly something anyone could do if their local library has internet access.

This site has been slow. I thought this would be a popular topic! Granted we don't spend a lot of money on promotion but you would have thought that someone would find us by now?

I know! What's up with that?
Yes, I work from the library, because I'm not at the point where I can afford my own internet connection :( Yet ;)

Okay - so, we have 2 members, & 1 administrator, it seems... What can we do, to change this? We need to get some people here, who work from home, so that we can get some ideas about growing our business. Right?

Absolutely!

I've done some SEO work on this site recently that should help.

We're on a low budget so advertising (adwords, etc) are out for now.

One thing I can do is post on some other forums with a link to this one in my signature. Will get started on that soon.

Know anyone else who works from home? Invite them join.

Trying to provide an independent place for people to discuss working from home. Notice we don't sell anything here?
