I'm kind of curious about why there have been no responses to this thread, as it seems a relevant question; especially to anyone trying to make money on the internet.
I blog, & I write (not business, but creative writing). But I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the purpose of writing a 500 to 700 word blog post is?. I've been advised to produce blog posts, daily, w/ this word count, & I have blogged daily, but I haven't counted my words, bc that seems absurd.
Can anyone answer this question?

I don't think many of the blogs I've read have that many words?

Are they thinking a larger content would have more relevance for Google?
